Then, make sure that Office (or InfoPath alone) is installed on top of the Framework. If the Framework is installed AFTER Office, you need to install the Office 2003 PIA:<br /http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=3c9a983a-ac14-4125-8ba0-d36d67e0f4ad&displaylang=en

Hope that it helps.

Regards,

Franck Dauché

Re: Opening Infopath forms without .NET Framework.

Hi,

Thanks. You don't have to use VS to do your development, you can just use InfoPath itself. In that case, the xsn will contain an js file rather than a dll and will be Framework independent.

Regards,

Franck Dauché

Opening Infopath forms without .NET Framework.

Hi,

I am developing my infopath application using .NET tool kit.
When we tried to open it from a machine that doesn't have .NET framework 1.1 installed, We are getting error "The Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 is not installed on your computer or the InfoPath primary interop assembly (PIA) is not registered".
Unfortunately our clients who is going to use it wont have .net setup.

Is there a workaround for this..?
