as already said verify that your form template does not have any query data connections. You cannot publish a form template to a list of e-mail message recipients if the form template contains a query data connection. If you need to display data from an external data source, store the data from the external data source in a resource file. Then you can include this resource file with the form template.

Regards,

Re: Use of database connections in Outlook 2007

if the person does not have infopath, he wont be able to make queries

Use of database connections in Outlook 2007

Hi there,

I have a question about the use in outlook 2007: I have created a form in which the user can enter a customer number and when clicking the submit-button, the related data for this customer (name, street etc.) comes from a table in a sql server. So now my question: What happens if I send this form to a person via outlook for fillng in this form with outlook (the person does not have infopath). Can the person also make this query via outlook? Does Outlook connect to the sql server?

Thank you very much for your help!

Many greetings,
Sylke
