Just define rules to print and then change a sentinel field's value and follow the rest of Matt's explanation. No code required!

Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP]
InfoPathDev

Re: hide buttons

Cleanest way to do it would be to make a new view. Make a "Print" view with everything arranged exactly how you want it (with or without buttons, etc.) and then when you are ready to print, change views and ctrl+P!

Other than that, you could make a "Print!" button at the bottom and attach code to it. Then make a sentinel field in your DOM that when it holds a certain value all of your buttons disappear. On all the buttons you would do conditional formatting -> when sentinel_filed = "true" -> Hide this control. Then in the code of the Print button, set the sentinel field to true and call XDocument.Print().

---------------
Matt Faus
hide buttons

hello, I want hide buttons in the moment that the form is printed, is possible?

thanks
