hi witzer,

i dont understand why do you need to change the field names before moving it to production, infopath does not change associated code automatically, you have to make the changes your self.

I need to change the name of some fields in my datasource before publishing to sharepoint. This is causing me fits though and I was wondering if there is any best way of doing this. After changing the name of a field and going to Programming -> Changed event (for that field), it creates a new event template with THE OLD DATA SOURCE NAME. So, should I just keep using the old datasource name in code? Don't know if I need to go through all the solution files to make this name change also, but I thought this would just happen 'automagically' once you do it in the u.i.
