You're not even using browser forms, so it shouldn't even have an affect, which is strange. That's part of why I think it might be a browser security setting.

GetUserProfileByName webservice

Hi,

I'm currently using Infpath 2003 and our Sharepoint Server is 2007. (There is no eta for our company on when we will update to Office 2007). I have a bunch of forms that I'm using the GetUserProfileByName webservice to populate information (First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, E-Mail address ect...). This is working perfectly for all people who have Internet Explorer 6 installed (which is my company's current supported web browser). We do, however, have a number of people who have installed IE 7 and IE 8 on their computers. Each and every one of these people are unable to open the forms with the following error:

Form template: <form link>
The following DataObject either cannot be created or cannot be initialized: GetUserProfileByNameThe query cannot be run for the following DataObject: GetUserProfileByNameInfoPath cannot run the specified query.

Access is denied.

When we roll back their computers to IE 6, they are able to open the form and the webservice works like a charm. Would anybody happen to know why this would be happening, and if so, what would be the fix?
