This is tricky because the image is a 2d layout (TIF) but the view is table-based (HTML) so aligning the cells to map to the form will be difficult and you'll want to turn borders off, etc. We did a prototype of a tool to do this automatically before but converting the text in the image into real text and lines into table lines was hard. Best to just keep the image and add borderless floater cells on top of it. Good luck!

Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP]
InfoPathDev

replication of a standard print form

Our business uses a standard printed form that cannot be modified in any way for copyright reasons. It would be very useful to capture data from the form using Infopath in the same way that the form copied as a PDF could capture data under an Adobe application. I could copy the file as a tif file and use data fields over the image or is there some better method that I am missing?

mb
