However as this company is a multinational, all the of the really useful distribution lists are dynamic, based mainly on their buiness unit number held in active directory.</p> <p>In infopath if I try to use one of these lists to determine a users location it just seems to ignore it as it hold no direct link to the und user.</p> <p>I can quite easily determine the country a person is in, or their operation, but I can&#39;t see a way to use this information to change a persons role. I could put in loads of conditional formatting based on this, but that would end up being messy with a lot of duplication and possibility for error.</p> <p>a) Does infopath really not handle this lists to determine a users role?</p> <p>b) If it doesn&#39;t what would you suggest as an alternative.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
