Our template is also place in Sharepoint. Up to now we had not problems with it. But there was a problem that with a link in an email notification forwarding to the related file will not work until the user has logged in the Sharepoint site. It showed that the form was protected, which I find is fine because not everybody should have acces to the site. But my boss insisted on having it accessible even without being logged in the site. I Solved this issue by making the users to be automatically logged on the system. But a strange thing happened. Now one .xml file can be accessed in the same time by a number of users and they can edit it independently. In the window of infopath it is showing [READ ONLY], but it is editable and the worse thing is that it is editable at the same time by more than one user - which will lead to a crash in the process. It is bothering me because previously when I someone has opened a particular form, and I tried to open it, it showed me the a message that this form is accessed at the moment and I can have a only a copy of the form opened. So my question is how to achieve that the form can be opened only by one user in an edit form, and how the users can be automatically logged in the sharepoint site in order to user the links leading to the particilar form. It is a question a bit related to SharePoint, but I hope there will be some other people who have dealt with such issues.

Regards,

Recently few users have complained about the form opening in Read only mode. When I try to open it from my machine, it works fine. Not sure what could be the reason behind the issue. We initially thought that it woudl be due to the managed code, but when we tried opening a form without managed code, we still had the same read only issue.

Have tried looking out for other posts on this forum, but couldnt find any answer to it. Can anyone help in providing hints in this regard. Thanks.
