I inserted a link, but that then launches another app (which I can't have).

If I am in the form designer, I can insert an image, and choose a .tif file, but the picture item won't allow me to choose a .tif file.
Can you explain this statement: "you can choose to have the image in the form"?

Re: Display tiff in a form

Yes, just use a link to it. In the InfoPath Designer, you can choose to have the image in the form or as a link. If the form is already created, you will need to ask the form designer, to add a field and provide optional display depending on whether a link or attachment is used.

Display tiff in a form

I need to display a tiff that is stored on a fileshare in the form (for a customer service rep to look at).

Is there anyway to feed an image to the form where that image is stored on a unc path?
