So you dont need any database support for this. You can have data directly in InfoPath xml files, to filter or sort the data.

Agni
InfoPathDev India

Need Help with Sorting/Filters...Please!!

I'm fairly new to infopath (have created some basic forms since being tasked with learning it) and now management has submitted to me, an excel spreadsheet containing numerous columns for which they want a form created which can be sorted by any of the categories/columns as needed.

I've been banging my head on this over and over and have familiarized myself with the user of filters but unless I am missing something, this is not what I need. I need to create the form so the user has the ability to view the form in it's default state containing all the info or filter out so that only line items containing a specific variable are seen.

Can I do this in InfoPath alone or do I need an Access/SQL backend?
