If you submit form with email there is an option &quot;Send only active view of the form and no attachment&quot;.

Re: Submit form as Read Only via email

<p>I&#39;d suggest having two sections: edit and email. Put all your editable fields in the edit section. When the user clicks a button, you hide this section then show the email section. The email section has read-only controls. Then you send email. The form is submitted via email to my inbox and then is automatically distributed to the relevant parties using rules within Outlook.

What I want is for the form to be submitted as read only.

I have added a Read Only view to the form and tried adding a rule to the Submit button to change to the Read Only view and then submit, but it is still submitting an editable form.

What am I doing wrong?
