Right click the link in the reply header and select 'save as' to save locally. Right click the saved copy and select design to open in design mode, then preview to try.

I'm lazy, so it only has 3 read only rows.... I set up the default values for those in Tools / Defaults and then used position() <= 3 for making the field read only. I also had to change the default for the repeating table in the repeating table properties so any newly added rows would be blank.... take a look and let me know if you have questions....

Re: Repeatable Table default text in first few rows

What you describe would be fairly difficult to do as described. If you want a portion of the form that cannot be changed, why not put the text you want in a layout table and let the repeating section handle the stuff that can be changed?

Repeatable Table default text in first few rows

I want to create a repeatable table where the first five rows have text that cannot be changed and then the user can add rows.

The first five rows will be standard assumptions (I'm creating a change order form) and then the user can add assumptions specific to the form.

Thanks,
