The page redirects correctly after form submission using FireFox and Chrome. So it appears to be an Internet Explorer specific issue. I'm using IE7... with all the current updates, so I'll be experimenting with settings and versions to see what happens.

Re: Infopath form re-direct problem on close using vpn

Thanks for stirring up the ideas with me anyway...... I found this little tidbit out there... might be of some use with my problem http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/itaysk/archive/2007/03/08/How-to-redirect-users-on-form-closing.aspx Haven't quite figured out what he's doing here... but it seems to be on a similar track to what I'm after

Re: Infopath form re-direct problem on close using vpn

The only way I know how to affect is by dynamically building a string in an SPD workflow where I set the Source attribute to my preferred URL, and then I send that dynamic URL via workflow emails. People then open the browser form from a link in the workflow email as opposed to doing it from the library itself. I have no method for affecting that URL upon click on the form in the library. It's _supposed_ to mimic the URL of wherever you are when you click on the form. I don't know why yours is not.

Re: Infopath form re-direct problem on close using vpn

Thanks for the assistance.... looks like I may have to dig a little deeper into the security aspects of our environment to get this working correctly. While I wait for that to happen....
I have an Infopath 2007 browser enabled form I'm submitting to a MOSS 2007 form library which is working great when I'm connected internally via the LAN. However, when I connect remotely using our SSL-VPN device, the form submits OK, but the redirect back to the form library fails with the following error: DNS error - cannot find server

It appears to be trying to redirect back to the form library.... but it's leaving off the secure connection portion of the URL. Is there anyway to configure this in the form or on the server to correct this problem?

Thanks,
