If necessary, our moderators will make sure it gets classified in the correct board.enCommunityServer 2007 SP3 (Build: 31118.962)https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/41433.aspxFri, 08 May 2009 15:43:22 GMT033a2e2d-04e2-4a9d-be01-a4634161eefd:41433ncgordon0https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/41433.aspxhttps://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=41&PostID=41433<p>Hello:&nbsp; I have created an InfoPath 2007&nbsp;form that is deployed via Outlook e-mail messages.&nbsp; The form must go off domain so the template can&#39;t be housed on a server.&nbsp;&nbsp;Updates must be published and distributed by subsequent e-mail&nbsp;messages.</p> <p>In-house, we have the following version of InfoPath 2007 deployed: Microsoft® Office InfoPath® 2007 (12.0.6214.1000) SP1 MSO (12.0.6320.5000)<br />(The corp has not yet given the green light to deploying Office 2007 SP2.)</p> <p><strong>THE PROBLEM</strong>:&nbsp; If a user opens an older version of the form, it has been <u>overwriting the current version</u> to become the new default.&nbsp; This should NOT be happening !!!!&nbsp; </p> <p>Relevant settings:</p> <ol> <li> <div>Version Upgrade is set to automatically upgrade existing forms, and users are NOT allowed&nbsp;the choice.</div></li> <li> <div>Security Level is set to automatic</div></li> <li> <div>During the first stage of the workflow, the form data and the form template are attached to the e-mail message.<br />Subsequent stages only send HTML views with no attachments.</div></li> <li> <div>Protection is enabled.</div></li></ol> <p>Can anyone help!&nbsp; This form has gone live already and is being used both nationally and globally.&nbsp; I need to get this fixed!</p> <p>&nbsp;Thanks, Noel C.
