I have the same setup (infopath form with certificate on SharePoint). When a forms get signed on a web based form, The signature stamp is missing the first name, meaning it only show "lastname,

When I sign it using the infopath everything is fine I see the full name: "lastname, firstname"

Any ideas what could cause that?

Thanks

I hope it works

Thanks for your replies , i will let you know if this is works.

Re: Digital Signature error on browser forms

We have found that the digital signature issue is due to the IUSR account being in the guest group on the certificate server. We removed it from the local security policy guest group and viola! our browser forms worked great. The cert server uses the IUSR account to be able to confer between the form and the certificate.

Re: Digital Signature error on browser forms

Hello and welcome to the forums.

This sounds like it could be a firewall issue. Do you have a firewall running? Also, make sure you have added your SharePoint site to your list of trusted sites. Not doing that can create all sorts of problems. Let us know if that works.

Digital Signature error on browser forms

Hi..

First of all I'm kinda newbie and my english is not so good..

I created a simple form with 1 section and 2 text field in the section. Then i enabled the sections digital signature settings. also i enabled the forms security for my section again.

I published it to sharepoint list, in sharepoint list i choose to display it always in browser (from advanced settings).

When i create new form, i choose the sign with my domains given signature but it says verification error. then i suspected this error , because i have already sign couple of word documents or email messages with that signature and did not get any errors. I choose to open forms in client application (again set this setting on the advanced settings in sharepoint list) then create a new form and try to sign the form.. and i saw a new field which is not displayed in the browser form.. when i write my name that field it signed the section and everything went smoothly.

i am uploading the signing windows both from browser and infopath client versions and i marked the field that i typed my name. By the way the browser form is in Turkish but i don't think that will be a problem

Browser Form

Client Form

is this my domains security check for signatures or is there any way to sign form like in client ?
