I have found a way to keep the fields by making the default field view infopath in outlooks customise default views but the problem still remains that Outlook decides to drop the associated template and the contents of the fields are not shown in the Outllok 2007 view.

If i could force a way to make outlook never drop its associated template i'd be laughing. Have noticed from searching posts there are a few more people here and on the net who are experiencing the same problem.

Re: Outlook2007 loosing property promotion

Hello Welcome to the Forums,

If you remove the promoted property and add it again then you might be loose your existing promote property. For every promoted column generates GUID id value in InfoPath. If that GUID value is same for both existing and newly promoted property then that view will not change.

Outlook2007 loosing property promotion

Hi

Was hoping someone knew a fix for this, seems Outlook 2007 drops the promotion of the template on its own accord in Infopath view, tried various setups but it still does it and there seems to be no set point at which it decides to lose the promotion.

Its annoying as you have to re-promote the template everytime it does it and its not going down well in my office as i pushed for Infopath instead of Adobe's pdf/tracker equivelent. If anyone has an idea how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.
