I worked out how to do this, at least one way of doing it.

I used Default Values from the Tools menu and added the amount of nodes I needed and then set their default value to the name I wanted.

Thanks to all who looked at this thread.

Infopath form with auto filled rows?

Hi there,

Admittedly I've asked similar question before, however, I would like to ask for some help with this as I'm still fairly inexperienced with Infopath forms, especially with code.

Just to note, the Information in the Infopath forms is being submitted to a SQL Server db.

I have a table called ProjectedCosts which I need to display in a certain way in Infopath. The table has the following headings:

Project Costs | Assistant Director | Portfolio Manager | Project Officer

To clarify - For each project, the above table (projectedcosts) will have three rows of information. This is because the Project Costs column will always have the same three line of info which are Project Scoping, Methodology and Fieldwork-Research.

The below diagram shows how the table will look:

Project Costs | Assistant Director | Portfolio Manager | Project Officer
Project Scoping | £10 | £40 | £45
Methodology | £100 | £45 | £76
Fieldwork Research | £35 | £60 | £23

The problem I have is that I want the table to automatically have the three lines of information in the Project Costs column so users don't have to manually enter this info. this means they can just add the costs to the other columns i.e. Assistant director.

Does anyone know how this can be done? As I said, all the projects will have this table with the same three lines of info under the Project Costs.

Hope someone can help me.
