You have to prepare one secondary xml file for groups and each group have list of users in that list.

1. Before submitting the form you have to set user name and group name in two fields. For this you have to check the user is exist in which group in onLoad. Now, you have submitted user name and group name in that form.

2. While opening that form again you have to check logged in user (opened user) is exist in that group or not? If user is exist in that list then you can give the edit permissions otherwise read only.

Read/Write control for submitted forms.

I have created a great InfoPath form that collects data from a wide range of users and submits to a SharePoint 2007 form library.

What I need to do is to control which users have access to which documents.

Each user is a member of at least one (real world) ‘group’. Each user needs to be able to view and edit only the documents created by other members of their group(s).

I have to think that this is not an uncommon request, but I have not been able to find an elegant solution.

Cheers
