Also do you have any idea of how to test if I have a web server that will provide the info?

However, you can set your form to Full Trust, and then you can get at the computer name. Or you might have available a Web Service which can return that information.

Get computer Name

I have written an infopath document that queries an access database for all of the asset details on that particular workstation. eg. If I am sat at workstation "1" I would query "1" and it would bring up all of the details for that workstation. The workstation number is actually the computer name, and I was wondering if there was an on load event I could write to obtain the computer name and place it into the query box on my Infopath document. I could then automatically query it.

I am used to writing VBA in Access and how no real knowledge of JScript. If anyone knows how I can do this in JScript or how I can write VBA for Infopath, please could you let me know. Thank You
