I have seen a few posts/blog items on dynamically adding items to a list box using the preserve code block, one of the examples does coloring as well but I was hoping there was an easier way. The list box is bound to a secondary data source (database) displaying a title column and "saving" an ID column. However a new requirement is to highlight certain items in red.

Plan B is going to be to use conditional formatting to show/hide an indicator icon/text that shows up outside the listbox but the preferable way would be to change the color (or background) of the list items themselves. I don't think we want to go down the road of writing code to query the datasource and manually adding each item just to highlight certain ones (not enough bang for the buck).

Anyone have ideas or have come across this before?
