In IP2007 you have the option of having the view in the body or the attachment, I am guessing you have 2003 probably. I believe you can do it using code in 2003.

It is a trust issue for the email acknowledgement. So that viruses cannot send email without the user's consent. You would need to use code and full-trust to eliminate the email pop-up and send button.

Or, with our Web Service suite, you can have email generated from the server as the submits occur so that it is seamless to the user. It also then allows for notification regarding overdue forms in work flow etc.

Qdabra Database Accelerator Suite Version 2.1 - Developer

Hope that helps.

Submitting a form to sharepoint and email attachment

Hi,

I have a form with one submit button submitting to multiple data connections. One data connection is to a sharepoint form library and the other data connection is an email attaching the xml file.

Question 1.

Is there a way to have the body of the email populate with the content of the form instead of having an attachment? I'm not a coder so if code is needed, please be specific.

Question 2.

When the submit button is hit, I get a security dialog box referencing the email that is about to be sent. It gives the option to cancel the email. I don't want to give an end user the option to cancel the email upon submission. Is there a way to gray out the cancel button or eliminate the dialog box entirely?

Thanks
Lou
