From what I can find, it looks like it is a registry hack to restore the menu if they are all gone.

Have you tried the alt keys? Alt, V, T, C would get you to the toolbar customization window.

Otherwise look at this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555130 I would guess there is a setting for InfoPath as well.

Re: Toggle toolbar Infopath 2003 - How do I restore my toolbar?

Hi Clay,

Thanks for the prompt response. Unfortunately there is no area that can be right clicked to bring back the toolbar!! All of the help responses that I read in books/on the web refer to right clicking to enable the toolbar again but this doesnt work for me as I cant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also as I work for a department where the IT security is tightly controlled - I dont have access to my user profile or restore points! The form that contained the scripting that toggled the toolbar off was written by someone else and a number of people at work have now lost their toolbars also!!

I really need an alternative way to get my toolbars back as this is kinda crazy!

Looking forward to your suggestions!

Cheers,

Kelly

Re: Toggle toolbar Infopath 2003 - How do I restore my toolbar?

When you have toolbars, right clicking on the toolbar area, allows you to select which to display. Once there are no toolbars displayed, I am assuming that there is still an area at the top, right below the window header that can still be right clicked but I am scared to remove all of my toolbars for fear of not getting them back.

I would think you might be able to go back to a system restore point and maybe get that setting back as well. I am guessing it is stored in your user profile somewhere.

Hope that helps. Let us know what you figure out.

Toggle toolbar Infopath 2003 - How do I restore my toolbar?

A form which I recently opened at work contained code (VBS) to toggle the Toolbar which in effect turned the toolbar off! Now I am unable to recover my toolbar which is making designing forms very difficult indeed!!!

Can anyone please help me and tell me what I need to do to make my toolbar visible again.. At the moment I have only a limited range of keyboard shortcuts to work with - so form design is impossible!

Thanks!
