You would need to identify the form user.

Then whether they are a manager.

And then add conditional formatting to the form to hise the section or have a seperate view, which ever is appropriate.

You may be interested in the Database Accelerator to keep a list of managers or in the Active Directory Web Service for Identifying your Users. Qdabra Database Accelerator Suite Version 2.1 - Developer

Hiding Managers approval section from all users (apart from managers themselves)

Hi,

I have an ordering system where a staff member makes an order and submits it.

Once submitted I have a field on page 2 called 'stage' and this displays the number 2 once submitted the staff member submits their order for approval.

In Sharepoint I have created a view which shows each stage of your order and how far it has been processed. But when a staff member goes into their order they can see the managers approval section aswell and can even click the submit button.

I want the managers approval section to show on the staff page only once the manager has actually clicked on the submit button and not before.

But I want managers to be able to see this section as soon as they go in.

Is there a way of setting a condition to do this?

Thanks.
