I have created a form that is based off a data source(sql server) with some managed code(VB.net). I am creating the form within Infopath 2007, however it has to be backwards compatible with InfoPath 2003, and eventually will publish form on MOSS.

The form is a request for time off. User will query information from the database to fill the form. There are 3 fields: AnnualForward, RequestedHours, and NewBalance. AnnualForward is pulled from the database, user then enters the amount of hours requested off in the RequestedHours field. The remaining amount of leave is calculated and result is put in the NewBalance field.

What I am needing to do is when the user submits the form, the NewBalance field is submitted back to the database in the AnnualForward Field. That way next time the new available balance is pulled when queried.

I hope I have explained this well enough.

Thanks.
