As far as I know, you have to use Outlook, not OE, with the InfoPath submit or you have to create the email yourself on the backend or via a full trust form.

Outlook has to be runing for the email to be sent immediately. I would just put Outlook in the start up folder so that it opens automatically, I think you can also have it minimized by default.

I've set up OE as the default email client but the form asks for an outlook profile on submit. Ok I gave in and set them up with an Outlook profile but the mail wont send unless they then open the Outlook program and "send and recieve" - this will be a complete pain. One great thing about OE is that it just operates in the background without the need to open the application - any ideas welcome.I did see a guy wrote some instructions to set the registry on "submit" but it requires permissions to be set for those users to edit the registry and I don't want to do that really.Cheers
