Im using the xmlformview webpart to display a browser enabled form on a webpart page. The form has 2 views, the first view which is the default is a simple checkbox and free text form that allows users to submit a form if they are having issues with the product. I have a text field that changes value from User to "Admin" when the first submit is completed. This goes to the form library. When the admin goes to view the form the onload event checks if that value is now "Admin" and loads view 2. The first view which is the default view is what the normal user sees when they invoke the form is submitted to the form library as i stated, when the admin opens the form and view 2 displays, they have a field with the users email address, a drop down that is tied to a list in sharepoint that feeds a text box with the response the user needs. On submit there the form is then emailed to the user with the answer to their question.

My problem is that since the form is in the webpart page i keep getting "form has been closed" i'd love to have it redirect or give me a different message. I'll look into the rules but if you have any other advice please let me know. Thanks for your time.

Re: Edit "The Form has been Closed."
Welcome to the Forums,

Which submit connection you are using? If you are using then directly you can show the alert successful message when form is submit successful Otherwise you can show Failure message when is submit fails. If you are not using the code then you can directly add rule depends on success / failure show your message.

Hope this helps you

Edit "The Form has been Closed."
