So in one form I would set a field to true that would act as the flag for the record and save the record. Then launch the other form and it would display details for the record that had flag = true

Re: Passing link value

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry,but i'm a beginner.What is database flag?

Re: Passing link value

Often this is done through views.

You would have your intial, default view be a display of all customers, you would have a button(which you can make look like a link) that would then switch to a detail view for that customer record.

Otherwise if you really needed a seperate form then I have used both database flags as well as passing parameters between two forms to accomplish this.

Passing link value

Hi,

Is there a way if I want to pass a link value in one web form to another web form?

For example I have list of customer's name (in link format) and when I click at the link, the name of the customer can be passed into text box in another web form.

Are there any possible solution for it?

Thanks.
