So the only way is to manually remove them? The only thing is that I am a little nervous about doing that because I dont want to remove something that is being used and with 60,000 lines in the manifest file their is plenty or room to make a mistake. I was just wondering if there was any other way of doing that?

Hello

You have to remove manually the rules or conditional formatting or elements that are not being used. Extract the files and see the Views(XSL), Resource files or data connections that are not being used. This might make a marginal difference in the form size

No, We have removed all un-used elements and fields in the data source.

We have been developing this form for over a year and there are still rules that use elements from when we first started that have been deleted months ago

does the old rules are used with elements that are still used in the primary data source ?

if not, try to remove all unused parts form the primary data source.

secondly, you can try, in edition mode, to "Extract files form form" (in the File menu).

We have a form that we deploy for filling out and using in our office. I recently went through my form to shrink the file size. I deleted code that was not being used and deleted rules as well that were not being used. I then went to edit the manifest file in notepad and it had every rule that was ever done in my form. This file had 60,000 lines. I would say about a third of the rules that r in there are being used and the rest are not. Is there any way I can update this file to get rid of all the old data that I am not using in attempts to bring the file size of my form down? Thanks for any input
