Your user can manually export to PDF (if they have the PDF/XSF add on installed in Office 2007) and then mail that. I don't know of any other solution.

Convert infopath view to pdf and email

Hi,

I have several views in my infopath form which I currently have set up to be submitted to an email data connection. The prrblem is that there only seem to be 2 methods and neither are perfect:

1. sending the view in the body of the email - works fine if the other user has outlook. If they are looking at it with a web based email system, etc the form looks awful.

2. sending as an attachment but this sends the whole form as xml and can therefore only be viewed by users with infopath and access to the template location unless you send the template too.

What I really want to be do simply is export the current view to pdf and attach to an email. Can anyone point me in the right direction to create the code for this?

Thanks
