If you delete them users won't be able to change your structure anymore. However I don't know if this will work with repeating choice groups and when your datasource is coming from an existing schema. As mentioned just an idea. Make sure to back up your project before you do any changes to your manifest file.

Inhibiting structure changes in Choice Section

Hi,

I have a schema that involves repeating choice groups and recursive sections. InfoPath allows me to create a form that can display these structures properly. The only problem, so far, is that I only want the users to be able to update the fields at the various levels, but I don't want them to be able to change the existing structure, i.e. I don't want the user to be able to insert, replace or delete any sections. Choice section properties pages don't include the option to disallow users from inserting or deleting choice sections. I tried using the "Customize Commands" button and deselecting all of the commands, but when I preview the form in Visual Studio 2005, it still allows the choice sections to be added and deleted. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance!
