This is because IE has an option to not pass on User ID and password which will not matter in SharePoint (hence the list works for her in SharePoint) as it gets your permissions from your connection, I think. With Infopath however this option must be explicitly set to pass on the Domain\Logon ID and password.

My first request will identify if this is the cause of the error and the seond point explains how to resolve it. If this is not the cause of the error then it can only be down to the form design but the very fact that other users are successfully interacting with the list suggests this is not the cause.

I hope this makes sense but it seems most likely

Cheers Adam

Re: User cannot open InfoPath form: DataObject either cannot be created or cannot be initialized

All of the users of this form are set up exactly the same way. She already had the domain listed as a Trusted Site. She added the domain to the Local Intranet setting, that did not do anything. I have checked the form security and it is set appropriately, to trust data from the domain. As I said, she is the only user who has reported this problem, so I would have been surprised if the form security would have been an issue.

So ... any other ideas out there?

Re: User cannot open InfoPath form: DataObject either cannot be created or cannot be initialized

Hi

Look at the following link which might help you: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/thread/1564.aspx.

And Just check what is the security level for the form?
