The Print View should not display any differently in the browser. How did you create the Print View? This may be a dumb question, but are you sure the field is on the print view?

Re: Text versus Rich Text Data Type

When its displayed in the browser.

quote:

Hi again,
When you say "Print View" are you talking about the Print View in the client-side form or when it is displayed in Form Server?

Re: Text versus Rich Text Data Type

Hi again,
When you say "Print View" are you talking about the Print View in the client-side form or when it is displayed in Form Server?

Text versus Rich Text Data Type

Greetings all,

I have a form that uses a Rich Text data type. When displayed in a browser, there are no problems with editing; including rich text and multiple lines. However, when I use the built in print view or create a print view the contents of this field are not displayed.

As a result, I changed the field to a standard Text data type. The problem with this is the field does not automatically resize itself vertically when addition room is needed for the text. In addition, none of the rich text features are available.

So, is there a way to get the Rich Text data type to display in the print view? Or, is there a way to get a standard Text data field to automatically resize itself vertically when addition room is needed?

Thanks in advance for the help!
