I need to disable insert and delete item in both repeating table
2. Add Insert button that will insert new row for both repeating table
3. Add Delete button on each row for both repeating table
4. Create onAfterChange event in field3 and field6 to push value to field1 and field2 respectively
5. Create onAfterChange event in field1 and field2 to push value to field3 and field6 respectively

The next questions will be, how do you insert and delete a row in repeating table (with code).

Thank you

Any other ideas are welcome.

Re: insert a row in Repeating table from other table

You might be able to do something kind of tricky in the OnAfterChange event of the my:grpRepeating1 node, but I don't know how easy this is going to be to work out.

The easiest solution that I can think of is to disable the InfoPath UI that allows the user to insert and remove rows and then implement your own buttons that will then maintain the two seperate tables using code.

insert a row in Repeating table from other table

Hi guys,

I have infopath form with this data schema:

my:Fields
__my:grpRepeating1
____my:field1
____my:field2
__my:grpRepeating2
____my:field3
____my:field4
____my:field5
____my:field6

With that data schema, I would like to maintain the same number of row between my:grpRepeating1 and my:grpRepeating2. Also, my:field1 and my:field2 also retrieve data from my:field3 and my:field6 respectively.

My question is, how can I overload insert item function in my:grpRepeating2 to insert a new row of data to my:grpRepeating1 as well.

I know i can use duplicate control, but then for some reason I really need to do it like I wanted instead of duplicate control.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
