Here's how I usually troubleshoot - I change the fill color to something different on every single thing (I was literally just doing this on a form) and then I can see what the culprit is. Sometimes it isn't the table row I think, or it is a section and not a row - in my case I needed to hide some calculated values that were blank and I couldn't see that they were still causing issues.

Issue hiding rows, auto height not working

I was wondering if anybody could assist with the form i'm developing in infopath 2013 ?

I currently need to hide a row which contains a text section in column 1, and a text box in column 2, both being hidden by a rule (by default).

I've tested everything i've seen on this site regarding hiding rows (setting height to auto and removing padding, extra spaces)

I have tried setting the height to auto but it doesn't shrink at all, i've also removed everything (including the text and text boxes just to see if they were causing the issue) and still the row will not shrink.

If I manually set the height to 4px it will shrink but auto doesn't seem to shrink it at all.

Any ideas ?
