So, I think you are saying you are trying to use an InfoPath form to submit to multiple lists? There just isn't an easy way to do that out of the box - there are a couple products the company I worked for created for this specific need. I really don't understand your other questions - what do you mean by "export the form differently to use it on a website"? Are you maybe talking about publishing a form as browser-enabled?

Re: Infopath email custom body not working as expected

I'm attempting to reproduce the method described here:

https://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/matt/archive/2006/02/02/Add-SharePoint-List-Items-with-InfoPath.aspx

Re: Infopath email custom body not working as expected

This whole process has been so insanely difficult, with all these custom fields relying on each other, and now interfacing with the lists. Learning to use all the SP libraries in sharepoint was tough enough but infopath has just been horrendous.

Is there a reason I shouldn't just recommend to my company that we ditch this entire system and rewrite the forms in sharepoint with javascript controls?

Re: Infopath email custom body not working as expected

Hmm okay. Do you have to export the form differently if you want to use it on a website?

Re: Infopath email custom body not working as expected

You may need to use workflows - you do need to use Outlook, if this is a Filler form.
