I'm not sure what an "SP drive" is. If this is a SharePoint list, I'd set the query field to the value of the text box, then run the query, so you get back just the item you need. You don't want to be querying 48k items from a form.

Linking Textboxes to Auto-populate information & Date Difference

Good Day Everyone,

I am somewhat new to InfoPath, however I am not new to the programing aspect of it. With that being said, I am a little lost when it comes to being able to:

a.) Input specific text into textbox A, and return a description or value in textbox B.

1.) I have created the correct Data Connection to my SP drive. However... When I input the text, nothing happens. I have watched a few videos of individuals using a drop-down list box. I attempted this, but with over 48K entries, it doesn't want to work.

2.) Is it possible to use textbox A to auto-populate textbox B?

b.) Date Difference between two date pickers. I have researched this subject. I have seen many solutions, however, I cannot get them to work. It returns a -1, 0, or 1 in my 'Difference of Days' textbox.

I am convinced I am better with VBA. However, this will be used in SP. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I will be forever grateful for your input. Thank you.

Best Wishes-

-T
