There are rules on the fields - did you open the form in design mode? :)

hey Hilary! I cannot see any rules on this form. Was there supposed to be? All I can see is the home and insert buttons

The only tricky thing here is the disable rule on the button - you'll see I used an expression for the second part of the condition. Otherwise - depending on how many fields you have, it is just time consuming adding the validation rules. You can copy / paste them, that makes it a little easier.

I'm not sure how to make fields mandatory based off the selection of another field.

The last field is basically asking what stage the application is in. If they put pending or in progress, then nothing should be mandatory and they should be able to Save. If they put Complete, then I don't want them to be able to Save unless everything else has been filled out. Not sure if this is possible.
