When you say 'set status' , what Rule type (formatting, action etc) needs to apply and how on each button?
Because i can only create 'Formatting' rule type and not the 'Action' rule type (which is always disabled).
I am able to create Actions but they don't seem to be associated with those two buttons and are only visible if i select 'Form Submit' from the tool bar.
So not sure how each button can handle Rule and Actions separately?
Thanks again.

Re: InfoPath 2013 Multiple button and its actions

Oh, I usually add a status field for something like this. Save button sets status to Saved, submit button sets status to Submitted. Workflow to send email then has a condition that checks that status is equal to submitted prior to sending the email. Make sense?

InfoPath 2013 Multiple button and its actions

Hi there, i am new to InfoPath 2013 and looking for solution.
I have created weekly report list in SharePoint and then created InfoPath Form template published on the same document library.
The Form works ok as expected once the team member completes the form and saves it saves in the SharePoint list.
I was able to create the Save button on the Form for the same which works ok.
Then SharePoint designer workflow gets triggered and sends email to team leader, everything so far works fine.

Now i want to create two button where 1. Save (saves data to list but does not trigger the SharePoint workflow) and 2. Submit (which also saves but triggers the SharePoint workflow)
I have tried different methods using your videos but those were created in Infopath 2010.
Could you please advise how can i achieve above in InfoPath 2013 ?

Thanks in Advance.
