If I download one of the old XML and open it up in InfoPath Designer, I can't access the Form Options. I can just re-submit the form. I will send you an old XML and the XSN.

Best regards,
Markus

Re: InfoPath Form doesn't contain data anymore

Wow, did you change something in the schema? Download one of the old XML and then in your form, under the Form Options, in the Preview section, browse to the XML to open it when you preview. Under Form Options, set versioning to not upgrade existing XML. Preview the form - what happens? Is there a schema validation error? Feel free to zip up an old XML and the new form & attach under the Options tab if you'd like me to take a look, or email me via the forum - I'll reply and you can send me the XML and XSN - I'd like to see what's happening. :)

InfoPath Form doesn't contain data anymore

Hi all,

I hope you can help me with this as I can't find any answer on my problem so far. I created a form which is published to a SharePoint form library as administrator-approved form template. Everything worked fine until I republished the form 3 weeks ago. Since this time, it seems that all old forms lost their data. Newly submitted forms look fine but old ones don't contain any data. If I open up the library in Windows Explorer and open the forms in notepad, the data is there in XML. I already tried the following to solve the issue:

1) I disabled and activated the site collection feature
2) I tried the "Relink documents to this Library" in the library settings
3) I saved the forms to my local machine and re-uploaded it to the forms library

Any other ideas?

Best regards,
Markus
