I don't think that's possible with InfoPath but maybe! I lose nothing to try! The picture attached shows in red the facultative sections.

Re: Searching keywords instead of database

I'm having trouble understanding the question - I'm sorry. Can you maybe attach some screenshots under the Options tab in a reply? You are searching a form library from within an InfoPath form - is that correct? You may want to look into using REST to query, then you have a greater flexibility for finding items that contain a value....

Searching keywords instead of database

Hi ! My form is not linked to an Access Database, which would be THE BEST but I have no idea how to create this so I'm using what I have and kind of know.

So since I will be using the form to archive events, I want to be able to search keywords in the folder where the forms will be stored to find what I'm looking for.

For example, I want the form to give me many possibilities of kinds of events that may happen in the same form (let's say rain, snow and wind). I want to give many choices to the user so something like snow, rain, sun, wind, blizzard, storm, etc. I want him the pick the ones he wants.

Then when I type in the folder search bar where the forms are stored something like 'rain', I want all the rain events to appear.

I tried it with text fields and it works but I don't want them to type it.

I tried it with the menu selection and it works but you can only choose one option, which is not what I'm looking for.

I tried the Check boxes but it seems to not work.

I would like it to work with the facultative section because that's what my form contains right now but I can't make it work.

I want my form to be as simple as possible so that the user will do it super fast.

Help !

Thank you in advance
