There are 5 corresponding fields that are by default set to blank if no data is entered...right now even if the user does not enter any data into those fields and saves the form it automatically saves the value to the calculated field to zero. Maybe you could use rules instead, set rules on the fields that would set the value, with the first rule to clear the field?
