Unfortunately, I don't know how so this post is of little use to other readers.

I recreated the form as a form library template and recreated the data connections, and everything just seemed to work. Not sure if I made the stupid mistake of creating the original as a blank form template? Or since this was one of a iteration of changes that it had an old ListID somewhere? Not sure. But I thought I'd at least let you (Hilary) know that I've gotten back to a working state. If I find out what I did (or didn't do), I'll update the post.

Thanks for your replies. -Marc

Re: Browser Form Error "OnLoad" in SharePoint 2013

Anything else in the logs at all? The reason I am deploying this way is because I need to hand over the .xsn and Powershell script to our Ops team to deploy into the upper environments. Mind you, I've been successfully doing this with other projects...even this project, but I decided to refactor and redesign the form. I went to deploy and suddenly I'm unable due to this permissions error.

No, the form does not have code associated with it. I chose this method of deployment some 5 years ago when I was new to InfoPath/SharePoint and picked it up from blogs. It's worked so I continue to follow the same procedure.

Your insight is greatly appreciated.

Re: Browser Form Error "OnLoad" in SharePoint 2013

I'm confused by how you published the form. You published using network location? Were you wanting to admin deploy this form? I'd publish to SharePoint (which involves saving the file to a network location and may be exactly what you did... I'm just confused by the description). Does the form have any code?

Browser Form Error "OnLoad" in SharePoint 2013

I've published an InfoPath browser-enabled form using "Network Location", then Powershell to install/upgrade onto the SharePoint 2013 server. The form has a data connection to the form library it is assigned to simply to get the next item ID. When clicking "new item", the form shows the following error: "You do not have permissions to access a SharePoint list that contains data required for this form to function correctly."

Upon further inspection in the ULS logs, I see the following entry: "Data adapter failed during OnLoad: The form cannot run the specified query. The list could not be found." Hmm, that's funny. I just called you from that list!

I can't help but think this is some way related to site or list permissions, but I've added every user involved (service account, admin, etc.) to group with "read" permissions. Could someone shed some light as to what's the problem? I have management breathing down my neck to resolve this issue. Thank you in advance!
