You can export your list data to an Excel file and use our XLS2XML tool to auto-populate a new form in a form library, but that assumes you have the template for the new form.

To create the new form, you can copy the view over by just ctrl-a and ctrl-v between two designer sessions, but you will have to rebind all of the controls and re-add data connections.

Sorry there isn't an easier way.

Publishing Infopath List Form to Form Library

So I created a very sizable Infopath form over a list. The client now wants there to be a repeating field in the form. And of course list form doesn't support it. So I have to go with a Form Library. But I would like to avoid redoing all of that work again. I've saved the list form to my computer as template.xsn but it's not allowing me to publish it anywhere except the original list. Is there a way I can do this, either publish to the Form library or even as a Site Content Type that I can also just use?

Thanks very much in advance
