It's cardinaltalos here again under a different guise...due to issues with my password :)

I've discovered that there are several tools which seem unique to a Document Information Panel template within InfoPath 2013. How these aren't available when making a 'normal' form I don't know!!

The Scrolling Region maybe helpful when it comes to including lots of content. But I think the best solution is to use multiple views, with a button to skip back and forth.

I'm still trying to understand how the height of the DIP is set whenever I publish the DIP. Sometimes (depending on the controls) it displays at it's maximum height, other times at a decreased height....

Thanks for you help. Hopefully this will help someone else working with DIPs!

Re: Change Height on the Document Information Panel

That doesn't sound good!

I think I can probably get away with using horizontal space. I deleted the post in the moderation queue. Have you thought about using more horizontal space? I think there may be inherent limits around the max height of a DIP (but I've rarely used them, so I'm guessing here).

Re: Change Height on the Document Information Panel

I tried to post another picture by clicking the reply button on your post - but it says it's gone to the moderator.

I'll try again now...

Re: Change Height on the Document Information Panel

Hi Hilary,

Re: Change Height on the Document Information Panel

Can you attach a screenshot under a reply in the options tab?
