In the past I have worked with SP Server, and now getting my first taste of Foundation.
In the past I was able to create a hyperlink which would shoot users off to a new form (whether opened in the client or opened in the browser).

With Foundation browser is out. The method I have used before (Eg. http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/23059/79756.aspx) does not work, presumably because there is no FormServer.aspx.
Yet, when I click on new document, it opens perfectly in IP form filler, so the behaviour is clearly possible!!! I have tried a simple link to the template.xsn file, but this simply downloads the file and does not open it automatically.

I also tried appending :

&DefaultItemOpen=1
&ClientInstalled=true
&OpenIn=Client

in various configurations, but nothing worked. anyone have an idea? I would love for a link to be possible so that I could build it into a custom workflow generated email.

Also see: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/24307/84076.aspx but i do not believe this is Foundation.
