So if the user chooses #2 for the first item, then #2 is disabled for the other items. Better yet would be to hide the unavailable buttons rather than just disabling them. Since hide rules can't be applied to radio buttons you'd need 16 little sections to hold the buttons, and to apply the hide rules to the sections.

Assuming you won't be pointing the attendees to the site but surveying them on your own devices, you might look into using Formotus. You can upload your finished InfoPath form and deploy it to a mobile app. This will make the form robust even if your data connection is unreliable. And with a 30 day trial you can probably complete your project for free.

Good Luck!

Glen

Create Non-Duplicate Responses in Likert Scale Set of Questions

Due to SharePoint's survey not being mobile friendly, I've been tasked to work on an InfoPath 2013 form to be our survey for an upcoming conference. While I've been able to make most of the survey, I have a set of questions that are to be ranked (almost like a match game).

There are four questions and they are to be ranked on a scale from 1 to 4 -- and the scale values can only be selected once.

I've spent most of the day trying this on my own and I think I'm just missing a couple steps.

Suggestions or tips?
