Then if the user wants to edit in the draft view, they can choose that after opening the document from the library. Although we usually edit our existing rows in the quick edit view from the library, instead of pulling up the entire form view.

Best way to Review/Approve Form via Sharepoint Library

I am fairly new to InfoPath, however creating my first form has required me to do a lot of research as the form is rather detailed and complicated. My fear is now that I've put in all of these hours and created a really cool Request Form, I'm concerned that it will be nixed because my manager wants a very easy/few steps ability to review/approve the request forms via the SharePoint library. Clicking on each document within the library, changing the view to Review for the approval fields and then saving, repeat will be entirely too much effort as she will review the requests in a Senior Management meeting each week and the time it takes to open each and submit will not be something she is OK with....she currently uses a very basic Excel spreadsheet for her reviews.

Is there an option that I can create so she simply opens the document via the SharePoint library and it opens to the Review view automatically? A couple of things to know: 1) the user/submitter does have the ability to edit the request form as I've given it a "Draft" ability so they would need to have it open in the original form view versus Review. 2) I work for a large financial corporation that has tremendous security features so unfortunately the email functionality is disabled, therefore I cannot have the forms just sent to an Outlook mailbox where she can quickly open the form.

ANY help is greatly appreciated. I must present this form to her on Tuesday (today is Sunday) so I really need to have this resolved as she will reject this form option otherwise and I'll be back at square one and likely back to the Excel spreadsheet.

Thank you!

Stef
