<p>You can include the /clear=no parameter to prevent this - of course, this means the password will be in the XML when it is saved (in your sample form) - so you may want to leave your Decrypt rule as is, or you may want to clear the password field with another rule. But if you just add /clear=no to your Encrypt command, you should see the results you wanted. Attaching your form with this change made.</p>

Re: Encrypt / Decrypt issue in repeating table

Thanks! I am attempting to use the encrypt and decrypt functions in a form with a repeating table that saves data to a SharePoint list using QRules 6.1. The result is strange and I really need some help understanding what is going on.

This form allows a user to enter data into the Sensitive Data column and upon clicking the Save button the data is encrypted using the encrypt function and the string is successfully saved in the SharePoint list in it&#39;s encrypted form. So, the encryption works well and as expected! :) The next step is where things get weird. I don&#39;t want the encrypted string to display in the repeating table, so I am attempting to use the decrypt function to decrypt the string in the repeating table. Instead, I get an error and the string remains encrypted in the Sensitive Data column of my repeating table.

The error I am getting is: Not valid for qRules encryption. Ensure field is not blank, is not already encrypted and that you have entered a password.

Please help... I want to use the functionality to allow users to enter sensitive data that will be stored in encrypted format in SharePoint and to not appear as encrypted data on the InfoPath form. How can I do this?
