If the form works, then perhaps the original form library can be safely deleted.

Especially if you're still in a test phase, then deleting and recreating isn't that bad an option.

Re: Gremlins....now NOTHING works.....

THanks for jumpin in.

Infopath form to custom library. 6-8 views.

I'm developing, it had been working. I turned it over for testing and feature requests (read: scope creep). Now several, but not all of the buttons immediately crash the browser on all machines.

The button error fires a "Memory couldn't be read" followed by webpage expired, tab recovered. Not all buttons....seems that when I tab around & land on a "bad" button it will fire.

The "sending data to server" is fibbing.....no changes are saved.

I'm thinkin of deleting the library and re-making/re-publishing.....

Are you saying you had a working InfoPath form?

Do the errors happen on all machines, some machines or one machine?

Are errors happening with all forms (perhaps indicating an issue in SharePoint) or just with one InfoPath form?

Please provide more details and we'll be glad to provide some advice. Thanks!

Gremlins....now NOTHING works.....

Good grief.....

Sharepoint 2010/Infopath 2010.

It started with these "browser crashes"....click a button, poof, "Memory cannot be read critcal error", "webpage expired", "tab recovered".

Then the "Save and CLose" button (Submit action, followed by close action) wasn't actually saving anything....wouldn't save edits, wouldn't save new, ....bupkiss.

So I tried makin a new view & creating new save & close buttons on there (copy the rest of the text box controls over), and when I hit "publish" the " Server error .....template.xsn is locked by user <me> "

Really? WHat the eff?

btw, my first effort this morning was to delete all the data connections, save as, close, re-open, re-add the connectons. Didn't help at all.

Man oh man......
