Thanks so much for responding! Yes, I actually did find that blog when I was first searching for answers. I ran into trouble trying to select View Source in outlook. When I would right-click in the message, it wouldn't give me that option. The strange thing was, it DOES give me the option in other emails. Just not the ones generated by ShP. If I could at least get this imperfect fix working, that would be something to offer (even though you're right, it's only temporary). I sure do appreciate you responding to my post. I was worried that it was just my inexperience keeping me from finding a solution. :)

Do you have any ideas of how I could get the View Source function to work?

Thanks!!

I did a search (and maybe you have found and tried this already) and found this blog post - maybe give it a try? If you do try it - would you post back and let me know if it worked?

EDITED: Reading the comments on that blog post leads me to believe this will be an imperfect fix at best, since it looks like it just temporarily hides the info.

How do you hide the [Submitted by] line?

Hello! I am fairly new to InfoPath. I was recently tasked with creating a Feedback form to be used internally on a company SharePoint site. The idea was to have the completed form sent via email when submitted. The option for the user to submit feedback anonymously is an important aspect of the assignment. I had no problem creating and publishing the form. It works like a charm. However, when the automatically-generated email arrives in my inbox, it has a [Submitted by...] line that provides the submitting user's email address. Kinda blows their anonymity out of the water. :-) I searched for solutions on line, with no luck. Then I found and joined this forum with the hopes that you guys can point me in the right direction. I can dabble a bit in code, but prefer an OOB solution if one exists.

Thanks in advance for your input!
